Slow and Failed SQL Server Jobs

By default, the Slow/Failed Jobs node in Server Explorer reports all SQL Server jobs that failed or took a long time to execute. The default time for a job to be deemed slow is 10 seconds. You can change the default value from Teratrax Performance Agent.

Job Details

The Slow/Failed Job node lists basic information about slow or failed SQL Server jobs. For detailed information about a job, select the job in the list to see the details in the lower part of the screen.

Job Alerts

Alerts for failed jobs and slow jobs are one of the most important e-mail alerts in Teratrax Performance Monitor. SQL Server enterprises usually have hundreds of SQL Agent jobs running on a daily basis. Navigating through hundreds of job to check for failure can be time consuming. With e-mail alerts, you can configure your monitored server to send you an e-mail message detailing the name of the job and the reason it failed only when the failure happens. See Alerts for more information.
